Anti-Hindu Indian Media

Various instances or double standards by the English media had made me thinking, why is the media so biased ? Two incidents fairly recent made me start thinking on the fairness of the media.
Starting with the Abhaya case. Kudos to our medias effort, many outside Kerala might not have even heard about this case. If this was in someways tied to a Hindu Priest, I am sure Mrs Dutt or Mr Sardesai would have made sure this would be a part of their daily prime time news. In short, for those who do not know about this case, the case goes like this - Sister Abhaya unfortunately saw 2 pastors having sex with another nun for which Abhaya was brutally murdered and dumped into a well. This was in early 1990's. Even with an eye witness proof, the case is still pending in the court. For all what the pastor's have done to some kids in US, the biggest relief in this whole episode is that the nun was not under-age. Compare this to the media attention that was given to the Kanchi Shankaracharya case. The whole media had predisposed him as guilty. There is no proof even linking him to the case to the murder, but who cares. (If you are not familiar with the Abhaya case, I would suggest you read more about this. The best part is Justice Hema's role and her comments during one of the bail hearing. I don't want to be a spoil sport. It is a masterpiece. This shows it is not just the media, but the judiciary too that is in tatters. But thats different topic altogether.)
The second shocker, murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati. Why should Maoist kill a Swamiji who was working towards the upliftment of the society? I always wondered why the media never asked this question. The whole focus of the media was on the backlash that happened after the killing. Media made sure to use this opportunity to tarnish the image Sangh or any Hindu group. Affiliated international media houses were also flashing breaking news about the so called "Hindu Murderers". Why this double standard ? Is Swamiji's killing of less importance? A saint, a reformer, a social-worker, how can Poojya Swamiji be of so trivial to the whole media. Many day's into these events, somewhere in a small article I could find the answer. Maoists are majority Christian converts; converts funded by the Evangelicals and Swamiji was coming in their way.
Now after Kandhamal, I started observing some changes to all the media websites. Mostly all of them started showing up with ads for "Worldvision"- biggest contributor to the conversion program in India. The ad's look very convincing. "Save a child", "Act Now". They have no mention of Worldvision or Christianity in any of the ads. Moreover, when you click on the ad, it takes to a page which by obvious reasons have no clue pointing to a Christian charity organization. I am sure far too many innocent Hindu's might have fallen for this without knowing that they are aiding conversion and breeding hatred in India. A work of genius by Worldvision, looking for examples in nature, a leach, a mosquito too many; in short parasites. Ad's being the biggest revenue generator for news organization it is a win-win situation for both Worldvision and news organizations. Worldvision in turn would have some say in the news (proved beyond doubt by Kandhamal and Abhaya case discussed above) and collect donations from ignorant Hindu's.
Unless a Hindu opens his eyes, be aware and say enough is enough, we cannot be fooled any further he will not have a reprieve. I will end this blog with this quote from Kenyatta, founding father of Kenya

When the Missionaries arrived, the Africans had the Land and the Missionaries had the Bible. They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible
